Dies for Lost Foam Casting Process

Lost Foam Casting Process is called Evaporative Pattern Casting Process, which is same as Investment Casting Process but the main Difference is that investment Casting process is using Wax Pattern and Lost wax casting process is using Evaporative Polystyrene foam (97.5% air and 2.5% polystyrene) Pattern. In this process Polystyrene Pattern is Brought out From Aluminum Tool, which is having cavity of Part’s shape and appearance. This tool is called “Die” used for Lost Foam Casting Process.
